For over 37 years, we have been supplying quality die cast products to the U.S.A., Canada, and some European countries and have been filling those requirements from concept to completion. SIMALEX can offer complete tool design, in-plant mold making, die castings with projected surface area of up to 300 square inches, secondary finishing, final finishing and a quality assured product. Company ProfileModern Die-Casting came of age on Canada's West Coast in 1964 when SIMALEX was founded by Alex Lyhne and George Wentworth. In those early days, our business was mainly custom casting and electro-plating. (We no longer do plating). After the first permanent molding machine was designed and built in 1965, we moved into custom die-casting. To make this possible, we leased a 6 000 sq. ft. plant in North Vancouver and installed the finest tools of our trade.
